On the quest for the perfect communion wine, a jaded older priest THOMAS & his mentee CHRISTOPHER embark on a wine drenched escapade in Napa Valley. Thomas soon feels upstaged by the perfectionist Christopher. More so when Christopher proclaims he received a sign from God validating his pursuit of the priesthood. Having never received a sign himself, Thomas issues God an ultimatum - send him a sign this weekend or he’s done being a priest. A chance encounter with failing medical student AVERY (28) and her influencer friend OLIVIA (27) cracks the foundations of Christopher’s virginal priestly devotion. As the weekend further devolves, can the two priests save their friendship, their parish and their own sense of purpose?

THEMES

This film will explore themes of identity, humanity, and how faith is such a catalyst for such beyond simply a religious experience. We experience moments of unbridled leaps of faith and the shedding of personal bias. We are aware this is a lot to encapsulate on a tight budget, but are thrilled to tackle such an opportunity.

At its core, this is a story about two people searching for true purpose in their lives and the pursuit of happiness.
